On July 11, 2025, the three-day 20th Shanghai International Automotive Manufacturing Technology and Materials Show (AMTS 2025) concluded successfully at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. As the world's largest automotive engineering industry event, the show attracted over 1,000 companies from 40 countries, with an exhibition area exceeding 90,000 square meters and record visitor numbers. Chongqing Yuxiang Auto Parts Remanufacturing Co., Ltd. ("Yuxiang"), with its leading remanufacturing technology and green circular economy model, became a focal point of the show. Its booth attracted over 500 professional visitors daily and attracted in-depth cooperation inquiries from multiple international companies.

At booth W5-E27, Yuxiang, themed "Giving Old Parts a New Life," systematically demonstrated the entire remanufacturing process for engines, transmissions, and new energy vehicle systems (batteries, motors, and electronic controls). Through dynamic disassembly demonstrations and digital interactive devices, visitors intuitively experienced the difference between remanufacturing and traditional manufacturing.

In his keynote speech, Feng Chuan, Director of Yuxiang's Foreign Trade Division, emphasized, "Remanufacturing isn't simply 'refurbishing'; it's giving used parts a second life through reverse engineering, intelligent testing, and green processes. Our goal is to restructure the industry value chain with technology and make the circular economy a new engine for the automotive industry."

During the exhibition, the Yuxiang booth remained popular, welcoming over 20 purchasing delegations, technical experts, and industry association representatives daily from Europe, the United States, Southeast Asia, and countries along the Belt and Road. Several international companies signed memoranda of understanding on the spot and requested on-site visits to the Chongqing factory. A Middle Eastern repair chain group expressed its desire to introduce Yuxiang's digital quality traceability system to improve the standardization of local remanufacturing services.
To meet these needs, Yuxiang has launched a "Global Partner Open Day" program, inviting interested customers to visit its smart factory located in the Chongqing Lianglu Guoyuan Port Comprehensive Bonded Zone starting in August. The facility boasts a six-story, three-dimensional production line, a Class 100,000 cleanroom, a laser cladding repair center, and an AI-powered quality inspection laboratory, with an annual production capacity of 250,000 units. It is the first company in Southwest China to be approved for a bonded remanufacturing pilot program.

Yuxiang's explosive interest is no accident. As a core city in western China's intelligent, connected, and new energy vehicle industry, Chongqing has established a complete ecosystem encompassing vehicle manufacturing, parts supply, and remanufacturing and recycling.

A representative from the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Commerce stated, "Yuxiang's case demonstrates that remanufacturing is not only a high-value vehicle for the circular economy, but also a new path for China's automotive industry to 'go global.' We are collaborating with pilot cities like Shanghai and Tianjin to promote the inclusion of bonded remanufactured products in the RCEP rules of origin cumulation, further unlocking global market potential."
With the conclusion of AMTS 2025, Yuxiang's globalization journey has officially accelerated. According to Feng Chuan, the company has launched the "Star Project," aiming to establish regional remanufacturing centers in Europe and Southeast Asia within three years, achieving a closed-loop operation of "localized used parts recycling, localized production, and localized service." "When a used transmission control module is shipped from Milan to Chongqing and then returns to the European market after intelligent remanufacturing, it's not just a cross-border journey for the product, but also an industrial experiment on a sustainable future," Feng Chuan concluded. "On the AMTS stage, we witnessed global customers' desire for green technology; and in Yuxiang's factory, this desire is being transformed into a real force that is changing the industry."
